About the clinic:

The Maidenhead Clinic is an out-patient centre for the assessment and treatment of mental health problems in adults. It has been established since 1998.

The Maidenhead Clinic exists by virtue of a partnership agreement, licensing detached and sole-use premises in Maidenhead town centre. It serves as independent consulting rooms for consultant psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, health and counselling psychologists and counsellors.

When Huntercombe Manor Hospital closed its adult out-patient service at Ray Lodge so as to concentrate on its core operation of adolescent mental health, the established multidisciplinary team and administrative staff committed to each other to stay together as an independent body to provide all the adult mental health services that had been offered at Ray Lodge.

Because the Clinic is in the business centre of the town its opening hours do not have to take care of residential neighbours. The range of fees is no longer restricted, making services available to a far wider group. The Clinic is also able to offer consulting rooms to other colleagues working in mental health.

The Clinic is identified only by the street number '29a'.
